Construction
Your investors like to know the status of the project. With our services, you can provide detailed visual reports. You can show the progress you make with a series of videos, photos and orthomosaic maps. Currently we are using Drone Deploy to provide a reliable platform to process our photos into 2D and 3D maps. Within Drone Deploy the maps can provide area, length and volume measurements. Files can be overlayed on the map so you can make sure your plans matchup with the current progress.
Construction Services
Preplanning Analysis
Whether its raw land or an existing structure, flying a drone over a potential site gives decision makers more precise information in a timely manner. Topo maps can be quickly generated and delivered in a variety of formats in order to provide a faster earthworks analysis. Existing structures can be inspected with regular photos as well as Thermal Images to find issues and anomalies that will save you money.
Construction Monitoring
Every Construction Company is different. That is why we work with your work flow and not the other way around. Some companies need all of our services and some just need one. We offer weekly, biweekly and monthly monitoring. Your deliverables are typically available by the next day in order to help you make decisions quicker. Not only do you receive a copy but we host and organize your data so that it is all in one location making it easy to find, analyze and share.
2D & 3D Maps
Using Photogrammetry we are able produce a top down, high resolution map. Accuracy of the map is determined by whether Ground Control Points(GCPs) are used or not. With the use of an overlay feature your map can be viewed with the site plan placed over the map. This integration allows you to make sure everything is where it should be and catch mistakes early. Typically when you have a map made you will have access to a 3D model (For 3D Click here and then click at the bottom middle of new browser) that gives you a perspective as if you were on the property
360 Walkthroughs
When the project starts to go verticle drones are still needed outside but the 360 Walkthrough becomes a wonderful tool to manage progress inside the structure. Floorplans can be implemented to know exactly where you are within the project. When drywall goes up and there is an issue, this documentation shows exactly what was there prior to the drywall. Inspectors don’t like to guess if something has been taken care of on a project.
Videos, Photos and Panoramas
Drone Videos, Photos and Panoramas are a must to keep stakeholders informed. The drone can fly the same path for all the data so that everything is comparable from week to week, biweekly or monthly. Videos can have pointers, labels, etc. to identify areas of interest to all of those involved. As we mentioned above you receive a copy of the data and we host the data as well to make it easy to find, analyze and share.
Roof and Facade Inspections
We have seen a brand new building with water intrusion creating a 10 ft circle around the newly installed HVAC unit. A thermal capable drone easily spotted this anomaly. Keeping workers off of ladders, scaffolding and roofs by using drones for inspections saves time and workers’ compensation claims. A facade inspection with a drone is flown autonomously to capture overlapping images that can be analyzed for issues.
Volume, Area and Length from Drone Maps
After your drone map has been created, DroneDeploy.com software offers the ability to measure length, area, as well as volume. This makes the evaluation of stockpiles very simple. Reports can be provided that show the map along with all annotations made on the map. There is a breakdown of each annotations with each measurement specified as feet, square feet and cubic yards.
